Google Chrome crashes frequently on the Nodes page

Symptom

Google Chrome version 54 crashes while adding a node on the Nodes page.

Cause

The computer might not have enough memory available to support Google Chrome version 54.

Action
  1. Update the Chrome version.
  2. Relaunch the browser.
  3. In Settings, disable all third-party extensions.
  4. Reload the webpage.
